Built at a MedTech hackathon, NeuroScan AI addresses a critical bottleneck in emergency medicine. We spoke directly with medical students specialising in radiology who told us something alarming — a patient can wait up to 90 minutes for a CT scan to reach a radiologist's desk. Not because the technology is slow, but because there aren't enough radiologists. In brain haemorrhage cases, that delay costs lives.

NeuroScan AI classifies brain haemorrhages from CT scans in seconds, delivering an instant diagnosis with haemorrhage type, severity classification, midline shift analysis, and step-by-step emergency procedure guidance. It doesn't replace the radiologist. It flags critical scans instantly so they jump the queue.

The tool analyses uploaded CT scan images using GPT-4o Vision for structured clinical analysis, returning detailed JSON with haemorrhage classification, severity rating, midline shift detection (including estimated deviation in mm and direction), and numbered procedural recommendations.
